Nationality:
Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Age Limit:
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as of 1 July 2024 (born between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2004). For aspirants with a valid Commercial Pilot Licence, the upper age limit is 26 years as of 1 July 2024.
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as of 1 July 2024 (born between 2 July 1998 and 1 July 2004).

Educational Qualifications:

- 60% marks in each subject’s Math and Physics at 10+2 level.
- An undergraduate degree (minimum three years) in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
- BE/B Tech degree (four years) from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.

- 60% marks in each subject’s Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

The selection process includes several stages for Indian Airforce AFCAT 2024 Recruitment to ensure the best candidates have been selected:
- AFCAT Written Exam: A written test (Multiple choice type) on General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
